Excerpts from some wonderful winter writing: "The sledding was fantastic because you could feel the frozen snow blasting in your face as we glided down on our plastic chariots." Nick "When I finally got to the bottom of the hill, I stood up and fell down about three times from dizziness." Austin "We took turns going down and plunging into the white, soft, smooth snow."Xajnill "As soon it was my turn, I hopped into my sled and flew down the dazzling hill of frigid snow like a rock tumbling down a steep grass hill." Isabel "The multi- colored fleet of plasticdiscs of death plunged down the hill in the snow." Jack "Slick sleds streaked down the slope swiftly." Amanda "Mr. Burns flew like the wind down the hill almost into the parking lot!" Jasmine "As my class and I trudged up the hill for the first time I saw how big it really was. The slope was covered in snow and loose brush. Heading down, I hit a jump that catapulted me into the middle of a fluffy snow bank." Noah "Our slick sleds made us fly down the slope." Wyatt "As we stepped up to the top, a sixth grader set down his watery blue sled hopped on and tore through the diamond blankets." Nathan "The snow decorated the trees with a beautiful white color."
