Since we can't be together in the Science Room at school, join me and my assistant, Sam the Dog for some interactive Science Read-Alouds. The materials you need are
  • a device to watch and listen on
  • a Turn and Talk Partner (this can be anyone who lives in your house or even a stuffed animal, your dog, cat, hamster, fish....) OR
  • if you don't want to Turn and Talk, a piece of paper and something to write with (for Stop and Sketch).
During the read-aloud, I will stop from time to time and ask you a question. Your job is to pause the video and answer the question. You can Turn and Talk about the question with your partner OR use your paper and pen or pencil to sketch what you are thinking about. Once you are finished with the question, start the video again.

The fine print: These Science Read-Aloud videos are for educational purposes only. Ms. K. nor TCS own the rights to these books. They are all a part of our TCS book collection in our school library.
